The Very Eye of Night
1959. USA. Written and directed by Maya Deren. With the students of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet School. 15 min.

Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti
1977. USA. Assembled by Teiji and Cherel Ito from over six hours of documentary footage and sound recordings made by Deren between 1947 and 1951, this film explores the Voudon religion and rituals of Haiti. Preserved by the New American Cinema Group/Film-Makers' Cooperative, with funds from the Women's Film Preservation Fund. 54 min.
