  • Uneasy Riders

1999. France. Directed by Jean-Pierre Sinapi. Screenplay by Sinapi, Anne-Marie Catois. In a Catholic-run home for the disabled in southern France, Réné, in the final stages of a degenerative disease and confined to a wheelchair, remains unbridled in every other respect. Played by a remarkably physical and ornery Olivier Gourmet, Réné is determined to satisfy his raging libido by enlisting his rambunctious cohorts to help him hook him up with a prostitute in this hilarious and touching film. In French; English subtitles. 90 min.
