1935. USA. Directed by Leo McCarey. Screenplay by Humphrey Pearson, Walter DeLeon, Harlan Thompson, based on the novel by Harry Leon Wilson. With Charles Laughton, Mary Boland, Charlie Ruggles. The Earl of Burnstead wagers his butler, Marmaduke Ruggles, in a poker game in Paris and loses him to a crude American millionaire cowboy, Egbert Floud, who brings Ruggles home to the Wild West of Red Gap, Washington. 90 min.
