    1939. Spain/Germany. Directed by Enrique Domínguez Rodiño, Carlos Velo. Screenplay by Rodiño. With Aalami, Georg Eilert, Fatima. In this fascinating example of Francoist propaganda, shot in quasi-documentary style, a Moroccan peasant, learning of the bloodshed of his compatriots in the Spanish Civil War, enlists to fight for the Nationalists. Preserved by the Filmoteca Española, Madrid. In Spanish; English subtitles. 85 min.
