    1970. France/Algeria. Directed by Jean-Louis Bertucelli. Screenplay by Jean Duvignaud. With Leila Schenna. A young Tunisian woman wordlessly revolts against her community. Working from Duvignaud’s book about the backbreaking labor and daily habits of a Tunisian salt-mining community, Bertucelli filmed on location in Tehouda, a village in southern Algeria. 87 min.
