  • The Firemen’s Ball

1967. Czechoslovakia. Directed by Milos Forman. With Jan Vostrcil, Josef Sebánek, Josef Valnoha, Josef Kolb. A riotously funny satire on small-town Czechoslovakia under Communism, featuring brilliant acting, the film provoked much controversy and legal action.
