    1953. USA. Directed by George Cukor. Screenplay by Ruth Gordon, based on her play Years Ago. With Spencer Tracy, Jean Simmons, Teresa Wright, Anthony Perkins. Presented in a brand new print, the film adapts Gordon’s autobiographical memoir of her youthful aspirations to be an actress. The period drama is handled by Cukor with his usual taste and skill 91 min.
