2012. The Netherlands. Directed by Marc Schmidt. Schmidt films the everyday life of his childhood friend Matthew, who is autistic. Exceptionally intelligent and fragile, Matthew has established a system in his home that allows him to control each moment of his life. Personal confessions, made to the camera, alternate with explosive confrontations with the outside world, as the film slowly unravels Matthew's complex way of thinking—and reveals the catastrophic consequences it eventually has for him.
