With Marlene Dietrich, Tyrone Power, Charles Laughton, Elsa Lanchester, John Williams. This engaging courtroom drama (Wilder’s nod to Hitchcock) was Power’s last role and one of Dietrich’s best in her post-Sternberg period. The program includes a revealing outtake. 114 min.
