  • The Tarnished Angels

    1958. USA. Directed by Douglas Sirk. Screenplay by George Zuckerman, based on the novel Pylon, by William Faulkner. With Rock Hudson, Robert Stack, Dorothy Malone, Jack Carson, Troy Donahue. In one of his last films, Sirk brings his melodramatic talents and command of Cinemascope to Faulkner’s tale of the peculiarities of barnstorming pilots and their compatriots in 1930s America. 91 min.
