1988–2001. Great Britain/USA. Directed by the Quay Brothers. This series began with the Quays’ work as pioneers of the MTV “Art Break.” Featuring music by His Name Is Alive and Sparklehorse. 17 min.
1986–2003. Great Britain/USA. Directed by the Quay Brothers. A selection of works with musicians Michael Penn, Peter Gabriel, and 16 Horsepower, and a collaboration with composer Steve Martland for the Tate Modern. 32 min.
c. 1985–95. Great Britain/USA/France. Directed by the Quay Brothers. The Quay Brothers marry their aesthetic to consumer culture and join the company of such pioneer film animators as Oscar Fischinger, Len Lye, and the partners Alexandre Alexeieff and Claire Parker, whose commercial work attempted to make art of commerce. 10 min.
