An enigmatic young stuntman, mechanic, and getaway driver uncharacteristically befriends his neighbor and her young son—and is soon pulled into her ex-con husband’s criminal schemes. Gosling’s cool, quiet demeanor is reminiscent of an early Clint Eastwood. 100 min.
