    2010. USA. Directed by Kelly Reichardt. With Michelle Williams, Bruce Greenwood. A small group of settlers are lost as they attempt to cross the Cascade Mountains in 1845. Their guide, the grizzled Stephen Meek, claims to know a shortcut, but his directions lead them into a harsh environment where food and water are scarce. 104 min.
