    1951. USA. Written and directed by Samuel Fuller. With Gene Evans, Robert Hutton, Steve Brodie, James Edwards. Although this was only Fuller’s third film, he was already a decorated war hero coming off of a two-decade career in journalism. Set in Korea, this is one of the very best war films—a genre in which the director specialized. 84 min.
