Shot in saturated, ultra-vivid colors, Chicken with Plums tells the story of Nasser-Ali, a gifted violinist who forswears life after his wife breaks his violin during an argument. 93 min.

Marjane Satrapi, the award-winning Iranian-born graphic novelist, children’s book author, illustrator, and film director, joins New Yorker art editor Francoise Mouly for a screening and a discussion about the development of Satrapi’s work.
