  • The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid

    1972. USA. Written and directed by Philip Kaufman. With Cliff Robertson, Robert Duvall, Donald Moffat. Kaufman’s nouveau Western recounts the events surrounding the infamous 1876 bank robbery orchestrated by the American outlaws Jesse James and Cole Younger. This unconventional genre film uses a realistic style and meticulous production design to add immediacy to its historical subject matter. 91 min.
