    1954. Italy. Directed by Alessandro Blasetti. With Marcello Mastroianni, Sophia Loren, Vittorio De Sica. Paolo (Mastroianni), a clumsy cab driver who has just been issued a new car, picks up the strikingly beautiful Lina (Loren) and two of her boyfriends. Lina invites Paolo to join them at the beach, but she is simply pouring on the charm so her friends can steal his cab. As Paolo unsuccessfully tries to bring Lina and the thieves to justice, he becomes convinced that matrimony will put her on the straight and narrow. 95 min.
