The filmmakers capture their lifestyle and food traditions—along with the music of Dewey Balfa and his brothers Will, Rodney, and Drew. 37 min.

    1973. USA. Directed by Les Blank, Maureen Gosling. A look at the older, rural style of Cajun music played by Bois Sec ("Dry Wood") Ardoin and his sons, and Canray Fontenot. The film interweaves scenes from a country Mardi Gras with incidents in the lives of the Ardoin and Fontenot families. 37 min.
