  • Pinocchio

1940. USA. Produced by Walt Disney. Music by Leigh Harline. Lyrics by Ned Washington. With the voices of Dickie Jones, Cliff Edwards, Christian Rub. Disney’s army of animators produced this fabulous follow-up to Snow White. A great picaresque fairy tale of the puppet who sheds his strings, runs with a bad crowd, and winds up in the belly of Monstro the whale, it has astonishing moments and some of the most memorable songs in animation history. Kiddy alert: Monstro remains scary as ever. 88 min.
