    1938. USA. Directed by George Cukor. Screenplay by Donald Ogden Stewart, Sidney Buchman, based on the play by Philip Barry. With Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Doris Nolan, Lew Ayres, Edward Everett Horton. A near-perfect showcase for several of the cinema’s greatest acting talents, under the tutelage of a master director. The film is among the best of all romantic comedies, a treasure from a mostly vanished age when movies were made for adults. 93 min.
