Automorphosis
2008. USA. Directed by Harrod Blank. In the words of its director, the film looks into the minds and hearts of a delightful collection of eccentrics, visionaries, and just plain folks who have transformed their automobiles into artworks. Narrated by Blank, Automorphosis features Blank's Camera Van; Uri Geller and his fork-and-spoon-covered “Peace Car”; Howard Davis’s “Telephone Car”; Leonard Knight, the religious folk artist who painted his vehicles as well as most of a mountain in the desert as a testament to his faith; and many others. 77 min.
