  • Revisited

2009. Poland. Directed by Krzysztof Zanussi. With Maja Komorowska, Daniel Olbrychski, Jan Nowicki, Tadeusz Bradecki, Zbigniew Zapasiewicz, Piotr Garlicki, Jan Jurewicz, Jan Kreczmar, Marek Kudelko. Shadows of a past life under Communism haunt Zanussi’s most recent film, a poignant, provocative, and often witty memory play that elegantly confuses fiction and documentary. Some of Poland’s finest actors are reunited to alternately reflect on and inhabit the roles they played decades ago in Zanussi’s Family Life, Camouflage, and The Constant Factor, narrating their characters’ fates after those films ended. In Polish; English subtitles. 90 min.
