    1949. USA. Directed by S. Sylvan Simon. Screenplay by Ted Sherdeman, Richard English, based on the novel Thunder God’s Gold, by Barry Storm. With Ida Lupino, Glenn Ford. A film noir rarity that attempts to explain the mystery of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine in Apache Junction, Arizona. Lupino is at her tough-girl best as the love interest of the elusive Dutchman. 90 min.
