The Museum of Modern Art presents Jazz Interlude, an elegant biennial benefit hosted by The Friends of Education, a MoMA affiliate group devoted to encouraging greater appreciation of art made by African Americans and the participation of African Americans at the Museum.
This year, Jazz Interlude honors the founding Trustees of The Friends of Education: Agnes Gund and David Rockefeller, Jr. The evening features a performance produced by George T. Wein. Proceeds benefit The Friends of Education Fund, which supports the purchase of art created by African American artists.
