The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building
A special two-hour workshop for families. Kids and adults explore works in the collection and special exhibitions, then use their experience in the galleries as inspiration in art-making workshops.
We'll visit Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling to consider how architects use prefabrication in their designs for contemporary homes. Then we'll put our design skills to the test as we construct model dwellings of our own.
In conjunction with the exhibition Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling
Ages vary by date. Only kids of ages listed will be permitted to attend. Parents will participate in the workshop. Admission is free. Preregistration is required.
All sessions are full for the winter/spring season. We maintain an active waiting list.
We suggest subscribing to the Family Programs E-News to stay abreast of registration and program information.
Morning and afternoon programs begin in the lobby of The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building located at 4 West Fifty-fourth Street (between Fifth and Sixth avenues, closer to Fifth).
