Mildred’s Lane Scrabble Scramble with MoMA’s Cafe 2 Chef Lynn Bound
Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 12:30 p.m.
The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building, Mezzanine
These frequent visits by collaborating artists, writers, and critics at Mildred's Lane invite the public to participate in collective tasks and discussions, from hosting food-related events to explorations of creative processes related to the visual arts, writing, biology, and more. All Swarmings take place at MoMA Studio: Common Senses on an impromptu basis during opening hours, unless otherwise noted.
Food is at the heart of Mildred’s Lane activities. The Scrabble Scramble food game is a socially engaged process for making a special dish from the letters of names of game participants. In a collaboration with Lynn Bound, chef at MoMA’s Cafe 2, a selection of Mildred’s Lane and MoMA community members play Scrabble Scramble and come up with a dishes that will be presented during the Common Senses at Lunchtime series at MoMA Studio: Common Senses on Monday, November 12, and Thursday, November 15, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Come and watch the game unfold!
In conjunction with the exhibition MoMA Studio: Common Senses
This event is free and participation is on a first-come first-served basis.
