Organized in conjunction with the exhibition Print/Out, Print Studio is an interactive space that explores the evolution of artistic practices relating to the medium of print.
Print Studio will host a re-imagined version of Collective Task, an ongoing project led by poet Robert Fitterman. Visitors are invited to respond to selected tasks set by the original collective that have been adapted for the Studio’s context. Using materials available in Print Studio, participants are encouraged to explore the recycling of ideas and respond through the medium of print, invoking the spirit of Print Studio—a space to explore the sustainability of ideas and materials, printmaking and multiples, and the creative possibilities that result from bringing together a new community of participants.
New task is presented every two weeks.
