Please join Chefs Michael Romano (Union Square Hospitality Group) and Lynn Bound (Cafe 2 and Terrace 5) for a special evening of Italian cuisine and wines inspired by Counter Space, an exhibition on the history of the modern kitchen. The evening will begin with a gallery talk and a cocktail reception.

6:30 p.m. Cocktail reception and gallery talk with art historians.
7:30 p.m. The three-course dinner begins in Cafe 2. Highlights of the rustic Italian menu to include: Chestnut fettucine with rosemary, walnuts and parmigiano; chicken scarpariello with fennel sausage and mushrooms; and vanilla panna cotta with tangerine compote. Chef Michael Romano will discuss the origins of the menu, with wines selected by Belinda Chang (Wine Director, The Modern) and presented by Tracy Wilson (General Manager, Cafe 2 and Terrace 5).
