The Performance Program is part of MoMA’s increased focus on the historical as well as the contemporary practice of performance-based art. The ongoing series brings documentation and reenactments of historic performances, thematic group exhibitions, solo presentations, and original performance works to various locations throughout the Museum.

As part of Performance 10: Alison Knowles, held in conjunction with the exhibition Contemporary Art from the Collection, Alison Knowles is inviting Museum visitors to join her for an “identical lunch” in MoMA’s Cafe 2, Thursdays and Fridays at 12:30 p.m., January 13–February 4.

Note: All performances will be videotaped or photographed. Participants will be required to sign a release form authorizing the creation and use of these videotapes and photographs when they check in for this event.
