This season we’re thrilled to present another packed schedule of exclusive events for The Junior Associates, along with several exciting opportunities to view art across the city. Here at MoMA, we’ll attend curatorial walkthroughs of Alina Szapocznikow: Sculpture Undone,New Photography 2012, Inventing Abstraction: 1910-1925 and more, and we’ll also attend special exhibition opening receptions for Bill Brandt: Shadow and Light, Henri Labrouste: Structure Brought to Light, Projects 99: Meiro Koizumi, and Wait, Later This Will Be Nothing: Editions By Dieter Roth and others. We’ll meet with artists Will Cotton, Trevor Paglen, and George Condo, and visit galleries in various neighborhoods around the city. We’ll also enjoy private viewings of art collections at the homes of top collectors. And of course, we hope to see all of The Junior Associates at social gatherings throughout the season.
The Junior Associates is an affiliate group of The Museum of Modern Art, comprised of individuals ages 21 to 40 who support and participate in modern and contemporary art programs. Each season the group is provided with opportunities to attend special Museum activities and also events scheduled outside the Museum, organized exclusively for The Junior Associates as a younger audience.
