| Fellow | $360 |
| Supporting | $600 |
| Sustaining | $1,200 |

Q. When do these new prices go into effect?
A. The new prices go into effect on November 1, 2011, and will appear on all renewal statements, the MoMA website, and all other sales channels beginning on that date. Your full roster of exclusive MoMA membership benefits, including unlimited free admission to the galleries, $5 guest passes, free films, members-only previews, and more, will remain in place.
Q. Why is MoMA raising membership prices?
A. The Museum has long been determined to keep membership affordable for all, so we have not raised many of our membership category rates (including Individual and Dual) in over 18 years—even as the costs involved in fulfilling your membership benefits (such as postage, security, and more) have continued to increase significantly year after year.
We are as committed as ever to making your experience as a MoMA member the best that it can be. The price adjustments will allow us to continue offering the high-quality membership benefits you currently enjoy, while also providing crucial support for the educational and outreach programs, important exhibitions, and critical conservation efforts that are so integral to MoMA's mission.
Q. Are membership benefits being reduced?
A. No. In fact, we have recently added several new benefits: a private, members-only viewing hour each morning for special exhibitions; an increased schedule of members-only gallery talks; our refurbished online member calendar; and online film ticketing for members only! In the months ahead, we'll continue to develop even more opportunities for you to enjoy MoMA, including the launch of a content-rich members-only website by the end of this year and (by popular demand!) extended summer hours.
Q. Can I renew my membership at my current rate before the prices change? Can I give a gift at the current rate?
A. Yes. Before the prices change, you may renew (or give a gift) at the current rate for either one year or two years.
Q. Where can I renew my membership at the current rates?
A. Through October 31, 2011, you may renew at the current rates for either one year or two years in the following places:
Q. What if I just renewed my membership?
A. Even if you have recently joined or renewed your membership support, you can still take advantage of this special offer to lock in your current rate for an additional one year or two years.
Q. Can I renew my membership in a different category before the membership prices change?
A. Yes. Before the new prices go into effect, we would like to offer all our members the opportunity to renew (or give a gift) at any level of membership at the current rate for either one year or two years.
Q. If I renew my membership early, what will my new expiration date be?
If you are a current member and renew your membership early, your new membership expiration date will simply be an additional one year or two years (depending on which option you choose) from your current expiration date. If your membership has lapsed, your expiration date will be one year or two years from the month in which you renew your membership.
Q. What if my membership is currently on Auto Renewal?
A. As you requested when you signed up for Auto Renewal, your membership will continue to be billed on an annual basis, at the then-current rate, for the category of your choice. Before the prices change, however, members who have enrolled in our Automatic Renewal Program will have the opportunity to extend their expiration date at the current rate for either one year or two years. To change your status in the Automatic Renewal Program, or if you have questions, please contact the Membership Office during regular business hours at (212) 708-9696.
Q. Will the price of Film Plus change?
A. No. Film Plus dues will remain at $100 per year. As always, Film Plus benefits may be added to any membership category.
Q. Who can I contact with additional questions?
A. For more information, please call (888) 999-8861, e-mail us at membership@moma.org, or visit us at the Member Services desk in the MoMA lobby.
