PopRally invites you to join us for an afternoon of printmaking with Forth Estate, as part of P.S.1's Saturday Sessions. Taking inspiration from Christian Marclay's P.S.1 installation 2822 Records (PS1), 1987–2009, guests will work with Forth Estate and artists Glen Baldridge, Donna Chung, and Tim Lokiec to screenprint on blank LP sleeves in a massive participatory printmaking event. Participants will be given a surplus LP from Marclay's installation to take away with their artwork. Forth Estate was founded in 2005 by Luther Davis and Glen Baldridge in the interest of producing editioned works by emerging artists, using both traditional and technologically innovative approaches to printmaking. Printmaking, and music by DJ Rezound, starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. A live performance by Real Estate begins at 6:00 p.m. Please note: supplies of prints and LPs are limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
