Logistics at the Museum

Try not to see too much in one visit—depending on your child's age, aim for thirty to ninety minutes—and remember to take breaks.

Pick up free Gallery Guides, information on Family Programs, and Family Visits brochures at the Education and Family Information desk on the second floor of the Museum (near Cafe 2). Select Gallery Guides are available at information desks on each floor of the Museum and in MoMA Art Lab.

Listen to MoMA Audio: Kids, a free audio program for kids ages 5–12. Available at the Audio Program desks on the first and sixth floors. Available in English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, 한국어 (Korean), 日本語 (Japanese), and 中文 (Mandarin).

Concentrate on a specific collection area or special exhibition. If the weather is nice, take a stroll through the Sculpture Garden.

Stop by the Reading Room in the Cullman Education Building. Find books for kids and adults, MoMA.guide, and check out scheduled interactive spaces.
