For this evening talk, artist Trisha Donnelly presents an illustrated lecture on a 1901 scrapbook comprised of a selection of mounted photos in MoMA's collection. This scrapbook is among works in the current Artist's Choice exhibition, for which a contemporary artist is invited to organize an exhibition drawn from works in the Museum's collection. Donnelly is the tenth artist to participate in this series, and has selected rarely seen objects from the collection, planning to display some of them conventionally the galleries, and others unconventionally, using platforms like the Museum’s audio guide and public programs.
Tickets ($10, $8 members and corporate members, $5 students, seniors and staff of other museums) can be purchased online or at the information desk in the main lobby, the film desk or in the Education and Research Building lobby on the evening of the program.
