About the site

PopArt was created by MoMA's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) as part of the 2008–2009 MoMA Teen Program. YAC participants met weekly throughout the year to develop, create and implement online and on-site resources and events for an audience of their peers. In addition to PopArt, YAC created MoMA Teen Audio podcasts, gallery tours, and coordinated a Teen Night Out event.
