I've always had an appreciation for art and design.
Since I was a child I always would look at things more
differently then other people. I would look at an object
and wonder how did someone come up with that design
or ways that would make it look better. Being accepted
to this program was a dream come true. I've learned
so much and the experience I had with the people was
just awesome. I felt that this program has given me
a heads up for my future as a graphic designer.
I have made a container that is a jewelry box. Doing
this container was a fun part in my experience at MoMA.
The thoughts I had for the box to make it colorful and
big enough to make it fit all my jewelries came together
with the help of my instructors and classmates. So,
overall I love that I came to this summer program at
MoMA because it has helped me so much with all that
I wanted to know about art and design.
Students reflect on what they’ve learned, review films, critique
architecture, and interview artists.
