My name is Krystal Raven Fernandez. I am currently 17 years old, but my passion for the arts has been a lifelong obsession. Ever since I can remember, I have always been infatuated with art and the freedom that it gives me. I have already taken a course in Twentieth century art in Johns Hopkins University, and am currently, and for the past two years, taking a course in Graphic Arts Communications in my high school.

I believe strongly in upholding my beliefs and I feel that if there is something that touches me or motivates me, then I have a responsibility to create a work that showcases my ideals. Most everything that I create stems from my own outspoken nature, and also from things that I am very passionate about, whether it is my family, or even a political cause. I believe in exposing the truth through my artwork. Even if that truth is myself and who I really am.
