MODERN MUSEUM GETS GIFT OF OILS; 'Most Important Group in 7 Years' Is Presented by a Trustee Anonymously

The Museum of Modern Art, 11 West Fifty-third Street, has received as an anonymous gift from one of its trustees "the most important group of oil paintings acquired since the bequest of the Lillie P. Bliss Collection seven years ago," it was revealed yesterday.
