Christmas shoppers may find answers to some of their problems in an exhibition of inexpensive utilitarian objects of good design, to be opened at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday. This show, called "Useful Objects Under 10," has been assembled by the museum's department of industrial design under the direction of Eliot Noyes to emphasize the excellence of design which is available in the American market.

An Army recreation activity that began unpretentiously at Camp Custer, Mich., has produced pictures of Army life by soldiers of so much interest that the Museum of Modern Art, 11 West Fifty-third Street, has brought the collection to New York for public display beginning next Wednesday.
