Bug Labs designs and produces modular
hardware for building devices for such
applications as remotely monitoring
patients, detecting earthquakes, and
hacking into a Toyota Prius and turning
it into a mobile hotspot. Bug Labs provides
the tool kit and the support, and
users become the designers, programmers,
and developers, producing unique
devices to their own specifications.
These applications can then be shared
on the Bug Labs website, creating
a crowdsourcing community.
