Botes’s prints often isolate and amplify details from his narratives in other mediums, including painting, sculpture, and comic books. Characterized by simplified graphic lines and a graffiti-like sensibility, Botes’s work depicts characters drawn from religion, domestic life, and social interactions that explore disparities of power.
