Rashaad Newsome X Cross-Museum Collective

This artwork was created during a seven-week collaboration between the Cross-Museum Collective teens and the artist Rashaad Newsome. Through visiting his studio; investigating his artwork and his working process; meeting with him for discussions and activities; and exploring their own definitions of status, power, heraldry, and swag; the Cross-Museum teens gained unprecedented access into Newsome's creative life. Presented here is the culmination of this collaboration.
