Talk to Me features an extraordinary range of objects—from interfaces and information systems to tools, video games, and furniture—made by designers, students, and scientists from around the world, and all designed within the past few years or currently under development. To assemble an exhibition of this scope, we cast our net wide, and, in the spirit of open communication, documented our progress in an online journal to engage with thinkers and creators from the design community at large. This talk shares the exhibition team’s findings, considerations, and explorations from this extensive process, to give a behind the scenes look at Talk to Me.
