Some artworks have a life beyond the present moment. Adrian Piper’s What Will Become of Me is a work set for completion when the artist dies. Lee Mingwei’s The Bodhi Tree Project has an incredible past and a changing form as it grows into the future. In this lunchtime discussion we riff on the childhood game of “20 Questions,” as audience members shape the conversation by raising questions.
Paula Stuttman (MFA, New York University) is an artist and part-time assistant professor of postwar and contemporary art at The New School for Public Engagement in New York City. She is a lecturer and a Community Programs/Access Programs educator at MoMA, and is an educator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and The Jewish Museum.
