New York-based architecture firm OBRA Architects, founded by Pablo Castro and Jennifer Lee in 2000, has exhibited internationally and was named one of the 2005 Emerging Voices by the Architectural League of New York. The firm received two American Architecture Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and won the 2006 MoMA/P.S.1 Young Architects Program competition with BEATFUSE!, a courtyard installation of interconnecting curved shells and wooden tidal pools.
