These notes accompany screenings of Andrzej Wajda’s Ashes and Diamonds on March 13, 14, and 15 in Theater 3.

By coincidence, Andrzej Wajda turned 87 last week, becoming the first living director we have included in this series, at least to the best of my recollection. Read more
