[1] Lender to the exhibition Expressionisme: Van Gogh tot Picasso, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, 1949, no. 45 (kerk te Murnau, 1909). Legat offered the painting for sale to the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam and the Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven in March 1949, but both institutions rejected the offer.
