The Chelsea Girls. 1966. USA. Directed by Andy Warhol

This rare weeklong theatrical run of Andy Warhol’s double-projection experimental soap opera, restored by The Museum of Modern Art in cooperation with the Whitney Museum of American Art, is presented as part of To Save and Project. The Museum gratefully acknowledges the cooperation of Tom Sokolowski and Geralyn Huxley (The Andy Warhol Museum) and Callie Angell (Whitney Museum of American Art) in the presentation of this special event.
