The variety of current approaches to describing man’s presence in the land is suggested by recent and recently acquired photographic works on view in The Robert and Joyce Menschel Gallery. Featured artists include Olafur Eliasson (Danish, b. 1967), Noriko Furunishi (Japanese, b. 1966), David Goldblatt (South African, b. 1930), Geoffrey James (Canadian, b. Wales, 1942), An-My Lê (American, b. Vietnam, 1960), Sze Tsung Leong (American and British, b. Mexico City, 1970), Scott McFarland (Canadian, b. 1975), and Clifford Ross (American, b. 1952).

Licensing of MoMA images and videos is handled by Art Resource (North America) and Scala Archives (all other geographic locations). All requests should be addressed directly to those agencies, which supply high-resolution digital image files provided to them directly by the Museum.
