The works displayed on this floor roughly span the years 1940 to 1980. Within an overall chronological flow, galleries highlight individual stylistic movements, artists, and themes, including Abstract Expressionism, Pop art, Minimalism, Conceptual art, and the work of Joseph Beuys, among other subjects.
